Baton Rouge, La.---The No. 9-ranked Georgia women's golf team carded a 9-over 297 in Saturday's third and final round of the play at the NCAA East Regional in Baton Rouge, La., to all but secure a spot in the NCAA Championships. After the top-12 teams completed play during the morning, the Lady Bulldogs were in seventh place. The top eight teams will advance to the NCAA Championships on May 21-24 at the Washington National Golf Club in Auburn, Wash.

Georgia finished the final four holes at 1-over to move to seventh. No. 2 Duke shot even-par 288 en route to capturing the team title at 859, 13 shots better than No. 1 Auburn.
