Athens, Ga. --- The No. 13-ranked Georgia women's golf team carded an 11-over 299 in Saturday's second round of the 30th Annual Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the UGA Golf Course. Though that tally was only two shots worse than their opening-round effort, the Lady Bulldogs slipped from first to third in the team standings.

Entering Sunday's final round No. 14 Florida, which shot 288 on Saturday, is in first place at 589. Top-ranked Auburn, which posted a 1-under 287 in the second round, is second at 590. The Lady Bulldogs are at 596, six strokes ahead of fourth-place Furman.

Individually, senior Angela Jerman's even-par 72 paced Georgia on Saturday. She birdied No. 5 and No. 8 to move to 2-under before a bogey at No. 9 pulled her back a stroke at the turn. Jerman moved back to 2-under with a birdie at No. 12 but then bogeyed No. 14 and double-bogeyed No. 15 to move to 1-over. A birdie on No. 18 brought her to par on the day.
