Tray Littlefield serves as the Loran Smith Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Communications and oversees Georgia's sports communications office.Â
He served as assistant director from 2015-17, was promoted to associate director in 2018, senior associate director in 2021 and assistant athletic director in 2024.

In addition to overseeing the sports communications office, Littlefield leads media relations efforts for the nationally-prominent Georgia women's basketball team, while handling various football and administrative duties.Â

Littlefield came to Athens following a three-year stint at UAB, where he served as the men's basketball and secondary football contact for two seasons. While in Birmingham, he directed publicity efforts for the Blazers' 2014-15 Conference USA Championship and NCAA tournament run in basketball.

Among other experiences, Littlefield served as the media coordinator for the 2015 C-USA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments. He also led the media relations staff during the two-week NCAA tennis championships and was the media host for the 2018 NCAA Women's Basketball First and Second Rounds.Â
His 2017-18Â women's basketball media guide was voted 'Best in the Nation' at the annual CoSIDA Convention in Washington, D.C.Â

A graduate of Mississippi State University, Tray worked in the sports information office at West Alabama for two years (2011-12) and was as an intern for the Denver Broncos public relations department in 2010.Â

He is married to the former Sarah Coffey of Starkville, Miss., and has two sons -- Jack and Henry. Â
