TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Georgia volleyball team defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide in a five-set battle on Sunday at Foster Auditorium, 3-2 (21-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-22, 15-7).
Georgia rebounds and rises to 12-3 on the season and 4-1 in SEC play.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Georgia volleyball team defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide in a five-set battle on Sunday at Foster Auditorium, 3-2 (21-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-22, 15-7).
Georgia rebounds and rises to 12-3 on the season and 4-1 in SEC play.

- Senior Bianna Muoneke recorded her fourth 20-kill performance in the last five matches, tying a career best with 29 kills. She put up eight digs and career-high-tying five blocks. 10 of her kills came in the must-win fourth set, hitting .529. Her 10 kills in the fourth ties her record for kills in a set, set against Arkansas on Oct. 2.
- Graduate Kendal Kemp tallied her second-career double-double and first as a Bulldog with a season-high 11 blocks and 10 kills. Her 11 blocks are the most by a Bulldog this season and tie for third-most in a five-set match at Georgia.
- Georgia's season-high 19 team blocks tied for third-most in a five-set match at Georgia and was the most by an SEC team in 2026. Graduate Tori Harper added eight, senior Kaiya Tyson tied a career-best five, and Alex Richter set a career-best four.
- Fifth-year libero Ana Julia Bleeker recorded a career-high 17 digs in the match. Senior outside Alyssa Worden also put up double-digit digs with 10.
- Sophomore setter Chloe Elarton picked up her sixth double-double with 40 assists and 12 digs. It was her fifth double-double in the last six matches.
- The match featured 30 ties, 13 of which were in the first set, and 15 lead changes.
- The opening set was a closely fought battle as the frame featured 13 ties and eight lead changes. Georgia was the first to 20, but a 7-1 run gave the Tide the 1-0 lead in the match, 25-21. Kemp tallied four kills on five attempts.
- The Bulldogs regrouped and hit .310 en route to a second set win. Muoneke tallied seven kills, and Georgia put up four team blocks to level the match.
- Georgia hit .344 in the must-win fourth set, led by Muoneke's 10 kills, and finished the match hitting .583 in the fifth to win the match.
