2019: Outdoor - Hit a high jump season best of 7 feet, 4 ¼ inches at the Spec Towns Invite to win, at the Mt. SAC Relays to finish third and at the NCAA Championships to score in fourth…Also won the Torrin Lawrence Memorial (7-2.50) and NCAA East Prelims (7-2.25)…Finished sixth at the SEC Championships after going over the bar at 7-1.50...Named to the J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll for Spring 2019.
Indoor - Registered two spectacular postseason performances in his junior campaign...Landed a career-best, school record clearing of 7 feet, 5.75 inches at the SEC Indoor Championships towards a silver medal and the No. 9 jump in the world for the indoor season...Capped off the indoor season with a fifth place finish in the high jump at the NCAA Championships, notching 7 feet, 3.75 inches for fifth place...Secured a second-place finish with an impressive clearing of 7 feet, 5 inches at the Tyson Invitational...Began his indoor campaign with an event win at the Clemson Invitational, reaching 7’3.75” to start the season.
