2018: Outdoor - Launched a season-best shot put of 49 feet, 1 inch at the Mt. SAC Relays towards a second-place finish...In her final home meet in Athens, she registered the fourth event win of her career and second of the season at the Torrin Lawrence Memorial with a throw of 48 feet, 1 ¾ inches...Took home third place at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational with a mark of 46’8.75”...Opened her final outdoor campaign with an event win at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, reaching 47’7” for the best outdoor opener of her career...Finished 12th in the shot put (46’8.75”) at the SEC Outdoor Championships in her final meet as a Bulldog...One of 46 UGA student-athletes who received Dean's List honors in Spring 2018, earning a 3.50 GPA or higher while taking 14 credit hours or more…Also earned SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.
Indoor - Finished 11th in the shot put (46 feet, 6 ¾ inches) at the SEC Indoor Championships...Placed third in the shot put (45-4.50) in the season opener at the Orange & Purple Invitational, the best opener of her career in the shot put...Steadily improved her 2018 mark to 46-7.50 by the Razorback Invite, at which she finished seventh...Named to the J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll for Fall 2017.
2017: Outdoor – Won the shot put at the Virginia Challenge after reaching 48 feet, ¾ inches…Surged to No. 5 on the school’s all-time top-10 list in the shot put with a mark of 49-8.25 to win the Torrin Lawrence Memorial…Took 12th at the SEC Championships after reaching 46-11.
Indoor – Was second in the shot put at the Orange & Purple Classic with a mark of 44 feet, 2 inches…Improved to 46-2.50 to take second at the Tiger Tuneup.
2016: Outdoor - Lifted a season-best mark of 43 feet, 11 ¾ inches for runner-up honors in the shot put at the Georgia Invitational.
Indoor - Did not compete for the Lady Bulldogs.
2015: Outdoor - Opened her season with a season-best discus mark of 141 feet, 7 inches at the Georgia Relays while also taking third in the shot put (44-5.50)...Let go of a personal-best shot put toss of 45-7 for third place at the Spec Towns Invite...Fouled out of both the shot put and discus at the SEC Championships.
Indoor - Redshirted for the Lady Bulldogs.
High School: Swept the shot put and discus titles at the GHSA A-private state meets as a junior (ended her season with a 12-meet winning streak) and senior...Was the runner-up at Dacula in the discus and third in the shot put at the GHSA 6A state meet as a sophomore...Named Athens Banner-Herald Female Track Athlete of the Year...Personal-best marks of 41 feet, 10 inches in the shot put and 133-4 in the discus...Also played volleyball and basketball in high school...Earned First Team All-Area honors in the volleyball as a junior and Second Team honors in basketball as a senior...Leader of the FCA at Prince Avenue.
Personal: Born August 10, 1995...Daughter of David and Jill Machovec...Brother, Israel, threw for the Bulldogs and was the 2010 SEC outdoor shot put champion and sister, Eve, also was a Lady Bulldog thrower and SEC scorer...Majoring in Computer Science.
