2020: Indoor – Competed at both the Razorback Invitational and the Orange & Purple Elite meet during her first indoor season as a Lady Bulldog…Completed four of five events in the pentathlon at the Razorback Invitational (did not run the 800 meters after she did not register a mark in the high jump).

2019: Indoor and Outdoor - Redshirted for the Lady Bulldogs.

Kansas State (2017-18): Silver medalist in the heptathlon at the 2018 Commonwealth Games…Set Canadian U-20 national records in the pentathlon and heptathlon and was named the 2017 U-20 Track & Field Athlete of the Year…Finished as the runner-up in the pentathlon at the 2018 NCAA Indoor Championships and second in the heptathlon at the 2017 NCAA outdoor meet…Managed a third-place finish in the pentathlon at the 2017 NCAA Indoor Championships…Was seventh in the heptathlon at the 2018 NCAA outdoor meet…Named 2017-18 USTFCCCA Midwest Region Women’s Field Athlete of the Year…Earned USTFCCCA National Field Athlete of the Week honors during the 2018 outdoor season…Won the high jump at the 2018 Big 12 Indoor Championships and 2017 outdoor conference meet…Named Big 12 Outstanding Freshman of the Year in 2017…High-point award at the 2018 Big 12 Indoor Championships and 2017 outdoor meet…Personal-best marks of 6,133 points (heptathlon), 4,502 points (making her the No. 7 all-time collegiate performer in the pentathlon), 13.46 (100-meter hurdles), 8.24 (60mH), 6 feet, ¾ inches (indoor high jump), 6-0.50 (outdoor high jump), 41-9.75 (shot put), 24.25 (200m), 20-11.75 (outdoor long jump), 20-3.75 (indoor long jump), 156-4 (javelin) and 2:17.40 (800m).
 
High School: Took sixth in the heptathlon at the 2016 World Junior Championships…Finished 11th at the 2015 World Youth Championships…Javelin coach was former Lady Bulldog All-American and SEC champion Krista Woodward…Also played soccer in at New Westminster.
 
Personal: Born Nov. 12, 1998…Daughter of Debra Duan…Mother along with grandfather, Duan QiYan (Nina’s primary coach), and grandmother, Zheng Fengrong, were all primarily high jumpers…Her grandmother was the first Chinese woman to hold a world record when she cleared 5-9.75 in 1977…Majoring in Psychology.
