Florida State (2015): Indoor - Freshman made her first NCAA Championship appearance as a member of FSU’s 4x400-meter relay, handling the leadoff leg on the ninth-place team to earn second-team All-American honors...Arrived in Arkansas just three months after moving to the U.S. from Wellington, South Africa...Has been a standout on relay teams throughout the indoor season, handling the 400m leg on the DMR which qualified in 11:04.53; the No. 4 team in school history...Ran leadoff leg of winning and qualifying 4x400m quartet at Alex Wilson Invitational, which laid down the No. 2 time (3:35.25) in program history...Competed in five meets...Produced a 55.71 in lone open 400m performance at Doc Hale Invitational...Placed fourth in 600-yard at Rod McCravy Memorial.
Outdoor - Ran a leg on the third-place 4x400m team at the NCAA Championships after the foursome clocked a 3:31.78...Handled the baton on the third leg of the 4x400m relay at the NCAA East Prelims as the group posted the fastest time (3:29.85) by an FSU squad since 1984...Was also a member of the 4x400m team that reached the Penn Relays Race of Champions...Season-best 400m hurdle time of 1:00.01 came in a fourth-place finish at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational.
Personal: Gained international recognition when she won the 2013 World Youth Games 400-meter hurdle title in 58.08 at Donetsk...that July victory capped a big year, which included South African junior titles in both the 400m hurdles and 400 (54.44) in April, while racing in Pretoria...raced sparingly in 2014 prior to coming to Florida State...born Aug. 5, 1996...Majoring in Civil Engineering.
