Was a four-year letterwinner for the Bishop’s School… She began her career being named the back-to-back Coastal League Pitcher of the Year as a freshman and sophomore… As a freshman, Maier worked a 1.90 ERA, a 13-4 record, making 22 appearances with 16 starts… Her sophomore campaign concluded with a 2.58 ERA and a 17-8 record in 25 appearances… She pitched 28 complete games in her first two seasons… Maier also hit .355 with 33 RBI and eight home runs as a sophomore… She missed her junior season with an ACL injury but was still named a team captain…. Aside from softball, Maier has also participated in water polo while being an honor roll student in the classroom and an active member of FCA.
