Key Quotes:
Georgia Head Coach Tony Baldwin
Opening Statement
"Not the outcome obviously we came here looking for, and hats off to Tennessee for that. When the season comes to an end, you're just thankful and proud of the season. It's a long haul, but as I said last night, the thing that's just hard about this time is it's just you don't get another week with this group. This group was everything I could ask for as coach. What they did to represent our university, and our program, and our fan base, that's what makes it hurt. But, it's a ball game, and they keep score. We just didn't do enough to come out on top today, and Tennessee deserves all the credit for that."

On Jaydyn Goodwin and Sarah Gordon
"As I said to the team at the end, I wish I had time to just punch in to chat GPT, 'What's the right thing to say,' and I don't know that I have all of that right now. Shorty's [Jaydyn Goodwin] been part of my life since she was 12 years old. My family loves her, my kids love her, she's like part of my family, and to watch her grow into the strong, confident woman that she is today, that's why I coach. I had coaches that did that for me a long time ago. For 30 years, I've just been trying to have an impact on people, so to be a part of watching her go, little Shorty, as a 12-year-old to the person who's a boss on the softball field. She's interviewing for jobs, and she's leaving here as a strong, confident woman. She's been a pain in my butt for a long time, but I'm going to miss that part of it. For Gordy [Sarah Gordon], who didn't start in our program, to watch her growth and belief in herself, to lean on her faith through the hard times, and grow into the woman that she is today - again, it's what it's all about."

On what she'll remember most from her time at Georgia…
"Just remembering that not everyone gets to do this. Although I've done it every year, remembering to be grateful to be in this position because not a lot of people are in it. I'm just so proud of this team and being able to do what they do in postseason. This group, this year, literally means the world to me. Everyone from all the seniors to the freshmen are some of the best people I'll ever know, and I'll be best friends with them for the rest of my life. Just being grateful for the position that we're in and acknowledging how significant that we are in this position and moving forward. I love all the girls, and I'm always proud of them."

#7 Sarah Gordon | Sr. | UTL
On her takeaways from her career…
"Obviously I didn't start at Georgia, but when I went in the portal, I always dreamed of playing in the SEC. It's the best conference in the country. Playing on this stage, I'm just so grateful that the Lord led me to Georgia because I feel like that was where I was supposed to be. I immediately stepped on campus for my visit, and I got in the car with my mom afterwards and I knew, I told her this is where I'm supposed to be. Being at a place that values who you are as a person over what you're doing on the field is just amazing. It's helped me grow into the strong, confident woman that I am today. That's something that the coaches invest into, so I just want to thank you [Coach Baldwin] for helping me become that version of myself. Moving forward, that's what I'm going to take with me, and it's just meant the world to represent Georgia at this highest stage."
