2018: Outdoor - Honored as one of UGA’s eight Presidential Scholar-Athletes for Spring 2018, accruing a perfect 4.0 GPA while taking 14 credit hours or more...Raced to a new personal record time of 14:19.12 and event win in the 5000 meters at the Texas Relays, the first event win of his career...Competed in two events at the SEC Outdoor Championships, placing 12th in the 10,000 meters (31:28.42) and 15th in the 5000 meters (14:34.63)...Clocked a new personal best of 30:21.15 in the 10,000 meters at the Mt. SAC Relays...Recorded a third-place finish in the 5000 meters (15:08.35) at the Spec Towns Invitational...Opened the season with a third-place finish in the 5000 meters (14:35.41) at the Yellow Jacket Invitational...Also earned SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.
Indoor - Improved his new personal record to a 14:27.97 time in the 5000 meters with a seventh-place finish at the SEC Indoor Championships...Posted a previous PR in the 5000m (14:31.49) with a second-place finish at the Tiger Paw Invite...One of 62 UGA student-athletes who received Dean's List honors, earning a 3.50 GPA or higher, as well as the SEC Honor Roll for Fall 2017.
2017: Cross Country – Finished third at the 5k WCU Festival after clocking a 15:34.34…Was 12th at the 8k Bulldog SEC Preview thanks to a time of 25:47.9…Scored at the 8k Paul Short Run after registering a time of 24:44 for 86th place…Finished 70th (24:15.7) at the NCAA Pre-Nationals…Scored at the 8k SEC Championships with a 29th-place finish (24:46.2)…Third across the line for Georgia at the NCAA South Regional, taking 66th (32:44.0).
Outdoor – Took seventh place honors at the Spec Towns Invite in the 5000m with at a time of 15:30.40…Registered a 30:49.85 to take 22nd at the Virginia Challenge in the 10,000m…Finished 17th at the SEC Championships in the 10,000m with a 32:56.35.
Indoor – Clocked a 14:48.99 for 15th place in the 5000 meters at the Music City Challenge.
2016: Cross Country - Scored with a fifth-place finish at the UGA Cross Country Invitational thanks to his 8K time of 25:43.12...Was in the Bulldogs’ top five for the second straight meet with a 30th-place finish (25:33.1) at the 8K Commodore Classic...Scored with a 95th-place finish (24:48) during the 8K Paul Short Run...Was 66th with a 26:12.7 at the 8K SEC Championships...Was the final scorer for the Bulldogs at the 10K NCAA South Regional with a 31:40.6 for 35th place.
Outdoor & Indoor - Did not compete for the Bulldogs.
2015: Cross Country - Competed in a pair of races, topping out with a 103rd-place finish at the 8k SEC Championships thanks to a time of 26:22.8.
Outdoor - Redshirted for the Bulldogs.
Indoor - Finished third in the 5000 (15:22.36) at the VT Elite Meet.
2014 - Cross Country: Opened his Bulldog career by finishing 20th (27:20.86) at the 8K Georgia Cross Country Invitational...Earned a career best time of 26:53.36 and finished 49th at the 8K Furman Invitational... Finished seventh for the Bulldogs (126th overall) and posted the fastest finish of his career thanks to a time of 25:48.46 in the 8K Greater Louisville Classic...Was the first Bulldog finisher (seventh overall) at the 8K Berry Invite after running a time of 26:24.70... Clocked a 26:25.41 and finished 80th overall (sixth Bulldog finisher) at the 8K SEC Championships... Placed 86th overall in his first collegiate 10K with a time of 32:22.50 at the 10K NCAA South Regionals.
High School: Helped lead Mill Creek to the GHSA 6-A state cross country title as a junior after the team took second his sophomore season...Individually was fourth at the state cross meet as a senior and eighth at the state meet as a sophomore and sixth at the state track meet in the 3200 as a sophomore...Three-year cross country team captain...Three-time team MVP...All-Gwinnett County and All-Metro his last three years...Top runner for Mill Creek last three years on region championship cross country teams...Personal-best times of 15:45.80 (cross country 5000), 9:25.43 (3200) and 4:25.01 (1600)...Won Dooley Award for student-athlete leadership in the state of Georgia...Coached by Andy Christie...Honor Graduate and Scholar Athlete (above a 90 average) and graduated with a 3.65 GPA.
