2017-18 (Junior Season):

• Has appeared in six events for the Bulldogs this season.

• Came in 14th in the Wexford Intercollegiate.

• Placed 16th in the Southern Intercollegiates.

• Chosen as a men’s golf representative for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

• Named the recipient of the James R. Gabrielsen Men’s Golf Scholarship.

2016-17 (Sophomore Season):

• Chosen as a men’s golf representative for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

• Named the recipient of the James R. Gabrielsen Men’s Golf Scholarship.

• Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

2015-16 (Freshman Season):

• Made his Georgia debut in The Carmel Cup, placing 37th and helping the Bulldogs come in second.

• Had a career-best 12th-place effort in the Southern Intercollegiate Championships.

• Named to the First-Year Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

• Named the recipient of the James R. Gabrielsen Men’s Golf Scholarship.

• Chosen as a men’s golf representative for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

High School:

• Graduated from North Oconee High School.

• Claimed state medalist honors in 2012 and led the Titans to two state championships.

• Named All-State four times.

Junior Highlights:

• Had two top-10 finishes and three top-20 efforts in AJGA events in 2014, including sixth in the Wells Fargo Junior Classic.

• Named a Rolex All-American in 2013.

• Won the Southern Junior in 2013 and came in fourth in the AJGA Junior at Steelwood.

• Had additional top-20s in three more AJGA events in 2013.

• Won the 2012 Teen World Championship in the 15-18 age group, doing so on his 15th birthday no less.

• Won the Jennings Mill men’s title three times, the first coming at the age of 13, and the Georgia Club title once.

• Ranked as high as 12th during his juniors career.

Personal:

• Born July 28, 1997.

• Son of Tim and Cindy Mackey.

• His grandfather, Gary Pleger, and his mother were standout golfers for Georgia.

• Majoring in Risk Management and Insurance.
