Head Coach Erika Brennan
On opening the season:
"The Cougar is a storied event and it's exciting to kick off our season in a familiar place and in great competition. The team has been working relentlessly right out of the gate and we're encouraged with the strides this team is already making. It's time to trust ourselves and go compete. It's that simple: we need to execute with deep belief that we're capable every day."

Freshman Ashley Shaw
On the first tournament of her college career:
"I am really excited about the opportunity to play collegiate golf. It's something that has always been a dream of mine. To be able to represent the Bulldogs and to travel with such great coaches and great teammates and compete for my school knowing everyone is pulling for us is very exciting."

On playing golf as a team sport instead of just individually:
"This will actually be my first time playing for a team. I've never been a part of a golf team because I was home schooled and didn't play for a high school. I think it's going to take some learning to play with a team and know your score not only affects you but also affects four other people and the team. It will definitely be a new experience. I'm excited to be out there not only playing for myself and my family but for a school and my teammates who are counting on me."
