Southeastern Conference play begins Wednesday, Sept. 23 against South Carolina. The match will begin at 7 p.m. and will air on SEC Network. Georgia then welcomes Arkansas and Oklahoma to Stegeman on Oct. 2 and 4 to wrap up the homestand.

Let's Recap
Georgia recorded three wins at the South Alabama Invitational over the weekend in Mobile, Alabama. Georgia swept Tulane and South Alabama and won in four sets in the tournament finale against Kennesaw State. As a team, Georgia hit .397 in 10 sets including north of .400 against Tulane and South Alabama. Bianna Muoeneke, Tori Harper, and Kendal Kemp were named to the all-tournament team. Muoneke recorded 4.90 kills per set, hit .426, and recorded 5.90 points per set in the tournament. Harper put down 20 kills, hit .529, and had seven blocks with a pair of aces. Kemp hit .571 with 13 kills and a team-best 10 blocks.

Muoneke Tabbed SEC Player of the Week
Bianna Muoneke was named the SEC Player of the Week on Sept. 14. She recorded 5.43 kills per set with a .426 hitting percentage in 14 sets and 6.36 points per set after leading Georgia to a 4-0 week. Muoneke led the Bulldogs to a four-set win over Notre Dame on Sept. 8 at Stegeman with a season-high 27 kills on a then-season-best .426 hitting percentage. A third of Muoneke's kills (9) came in the first set. That number tied a Georgia record for kills in a set. She tied Georgia's rally scoring records with 27 kills and 30.0 points in four sets. It was her third double-double of the 2026 campaign with a season-best 14 digs. Muoneke put up double-digit kills in every match of the South Alabama Invitational over the weekend, hitting near or above .400 in all three matches, including a new season-high .469 against South Alabama on Saturday. Muoneke set or matched season highs in points (30), kills (27), hitting percentage (.469), assists (4), aces (3), digs (14), and blocks (4) in last week's matches. She earned South Alabama Invitational All-Tournament Team honors.

Elarton Named SEC Setter of the Week
Chloe Elarton captured SEC Setter of the Week honors on Sept. 14. She ran a Georgia offense that picked up four wins the week prior. The Bulldogs hit .374 on the week as a whole, including hitting over .400 in back-to-back matches of the South Alabama Invitational. Elarton ran an offense that hit .448 against Tulane on Saturday. That number was the third-highest in a three-set match in Georgia's rally scoring era. The Bulldogs committed only three hitting errors in the match.  Individually, Elarton dished out a career-high 44 assists against Notre Dame on Tuesday and tied her career-high two kills twice in the South Alabama Invitational. She has handed out the second-most assists in the SEC this season (291) and ranks ninth in the league with 8.82 assists per set.

Limiting the Opponent
Georgia held opponents to 10 points or less three times in the matter of one week. The Bulldogs held Notre Dame to nine points in the third set on Sept. 8. The on back-to-back days Sept. 12-13, Georgia held South Alabama and Kennesaw State to 10 points each in the second and third sets, respectively. Those sets appear on the top 10 list for fewest points allowed in a set in Georgia rally scoring history.

Muoneke's Record Night Lifts Georgia to Win Over Irish
Bianna Muoneke led the Bulldogs to a four-set win over Notre Dame on Sept. 8 at Stegeman Coliseum with a season-high 27 kills on a season-best .426 hitting percentage. She tied Georgia rally scoring records with 27 kills and 30.0 points in four sets. It was her third double-double of the 2026 campaign with a season-best 14 digs. A third of Muoneke's kills (9) came in the first set. That number tied a Georgia set record of kills in a set, set twice before, last done by Ann Dylla in the third set at Northern Colorado on Sept. 4, 2010. Muoneke finished the match with eight kills in the fourth.
