July 20, 2026 | Track & Field

ATHENS, Ga. – Track & field's Kimani Jack has been named to the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-America Second Team, announced by the CSC..

Jack excelled both on the track and in the classroom during the 2026 season. The national champion in the high jump earned Second-Team Academic All-America honors after posting a 3.61 GPA while completing his master's degree in sport management and policy.

The London native is a two-time SEC champion and All-American in the high jump. He captured the 2026 NCAA outdoor high jump title and owns both the Georgia indoor and outdoor school records in the event. His personal-best clearance of 2.31m/7-7 stands as the program record.

Jack is the first Bulldog to be named a CSC Academic All-American since Alex Kolesnikoff did so in 2024.

To be eligible for Academic All-America consideration, student-athletes must first be selected to the CSC Academic All-District Team before advancing to the national ballot. CSC members then vote to determine the Academic All-America teams across all NCAA divisions and the NAIA.
