Georgia Track & Field Collects Team and Individual USTFCCCA Academic Awards

NEW ORLEANS – Georgia track & field earned national academic recognitions, claiming National Scholar Team of the Year honors, while numerous Georgia student-athletes received individual All-Academic recognition, announced by the USTFCCCA on Monday.
Both the women's indoor and outdoor team swept the National Scholar Team of the Year honors, while men were named National Scholar Team of the Year for the outdoor campaign. Additionally, 15 women and 15 men received all-academic honors.
To qualify, a team must possess a GPA of 3.00 or higher. Student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.25 and have finished the season ranked among the top 96 individually or top 48 in a relay indoors, or for outdoor, participated in the NCAA Regionals, NCAA Championship, or ranked among the top 48.
On the men's side the following men were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team: Mohamed Adoini, Will Aitken, Le'Ezra Brown, London Costen, Will Floyd, Kimani Jack, Sidi Njie, Matias Reynaga, Nick Reynolds, Alon Rogow, Conner Rutherford, Jonathan Simms, Oliver Smart, Brion Stephens, Maximus Tucker.
On the women's side the following men were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team: Skylar Brazzell, Taylor Cox, Chloe Fair, Rylee Hampton, Sydney Harris, Adaejah Hodge, Kaila Jackson, Vimbayi Maisvorewa, Kelsie Murrell-Ross, Dejanea Oakley, Karsen Phillips, Reign Redmond, Michelle Smith, Chelsi Williams and Zoe Ziglor.
