Bulldogs Set to Host No. 18 UCLA in NCAA Super Regional

ATHENS, Ga. — The top-seeded Georgia women's tennis team (20-5) will host No. 18 UCLA women's tennis in the NCAA Super Regional on Friday, May 8 at 4 p.m. ET at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

  • Georgia leads the all-time series against UCLA Bruins women's tennis, 8-5, though UCLA won the most recent meeting, 4-1, in the 2015 NCAA Championship semifinals.
  • A victory over UCLA would send Georgia to the NCAA quarterfinals for the fourth consecutive season.
  • UCLA advanced with back-to-back 4-3 wins over San Diego State and No. 16 seed Arizona State in Tempe, Arizona, while Georgia earned two 4-0 sweeps against Alabama State and Charlotte in Athens. The winner will advance to the NCAA Championship final site, also hosted in Athens.
