No. 1 Georgia Closes Regular Season at No. 50 Alabama, Hosts No. 55 Mississippi State

ATHENS, Ga. — The No. 1 Georgia women's tennis team (15-4, 10-3 SEC) is set to compete in its final weekend of the regular season beginning with a road match against No. 50 Alabama (12-9, 4-9 SEC) on Thursday, April 9 at 5 p.m. ET, followed by a Senior Day matchup with No. 55 Mississippi State (15-10, 3-10 SEC) on Saturday, April 11 at 3 p.m. ET at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

Senior Day
  • Saturday's match against Mississippi State will serve as Senior Day, honoring one of the program's most successful senior classes, including Anastasiia Lopata, Sofia Rojas, Alexandra Vecic and Haley Gaudette.
  • Georgia's senior class has been a key part of one of the most successful stretches in program history, helping the Bulldogs capture the NCAA National Championship in 2025 and a runner-up finish in 2024, three SEC Tournament titles (2023, 2024, 2025) and back-to-back ITA National Team Indoor Championships (2025, 2026), while also contributing to a 2023 NCAA Championship semifinal appearance and a 2023 ITA National Team Indoor finalist finish.
