ATHENS, Ga. — Fourth-ranked Georgia dropped Sunday's rubber match against No. 21 Florida, 13-7.

Senior Matt Scott got the start on the mound for Georgia, (29-8, 11-4 SEC). Florida's Luke McNeillie earned the win for the Gators, while Senior Grant Edwards (0-1) was credited with the loss.
Florida (27-10, 9-6 SEC) took the early lead putting three on the board in the first inning.
Sophomore Rylan Lujo put Georgia on the board with a double to left center field in the bottom of the first.
Senior Michael O'Shaughnessy singled, allowing Jackson and Lujo to score, closing the gap to 3-2 heading into the second inning.
In the bottom of the second, junior Daniel Jackson, senior Jordy Oriach, and Lujo hit three consecutive singles bringing in one run a piece, tying the game at 5-5.
