Key Quotes
Ike Cousins Head Baseball Coach Wes Johnson
On midweek games after losses…
"After an emotional weekend and hard-fought battle with a good team in other qualities, who we played last, we jump-started the guys a little bit. I thought our offense did fine, and our pitchers did too. We have to keep grinding. Midweeks, at this point in the season, you're trying to stay healthy; you're trying to win the game, and then move on. That's what we did today."

On the importance of depth in the lineup…
"We have an unbelievable amount of depth. Guys can go around, play different positions, come in and out of the game, and be able to do their job. So, I mean, it's huge. It kind of keeps everybody content and comfortable, and just being able to stay locked in and focused for the whole nine innings."

On the difference in mental preparation for a non-SEC game…
"These guys are a great team. So, we just got to come out and respect all and fear no one. Just play them like we play everybody. Play them hard and play them like it's an SEC game. Every game's a SEC game, so just coming out with that mindset is how we do it."
