Recapping the Last Meet
Georgia scored a 197.600 on Friday night in Stegeman Coliseum, defeating the seventh-ranked Missouri Tigers (197.300). Camarah Williams was the highlight of the GymDogs' lineup on Friday. Williams won the outright vault (9.900) and floor (tied career-high 9.975) titles and won a share of the beam title (career-best 9.975). Kelise Woolford shared the beam title with Williams with a career-best 9.975. Georgia counted five scores of 9.900 or better, a season best, and put up a season-high 49.625 on the event to come from behind and win the meet. Harley Tomlin and Nyla Aquino recorded a 9.925 on floor, while Ady Wahl and Eryn Williams posted a 9.900, marking a career high for Williams. Georgia snapped an 11-meet losing streak to the Tigers and beat Missouri for the first time since Jan. 8, 2021.
