Bulldogs Rewrite Numerous Records During 2025-26 Campaign

ATHENS, Ga. — The 2025-26 Georgia Bulldogs caused significant editing to the program's record books. Most notably, the team broke records for both regular-season victories and scoring (total points and scoring average).

From a season standpoint, Georgia set eight new program records:
• Most regular-season wins (22).
• Most 100-point games (8). Old mark was 5.
• Most total points (2,951). Old mark was 2,764.
• Highest scoring average (89.4). Old mark was 82.7.
• Most field goals made (1,013). Old mark was 997.
• Most 3-point FGs made (324). Old mark was 300.
• Most 3-point FGs attempted (960). Old mark was 883.
• Most blocked shots (199). Old mark was 175.

The Bulldogs broke three of their single-game records. Georgia set new standards for both 3-pointers made and attempted against Tennessee Tech on Nov. 29, knocking down 21 of 43 shots from behind the arc. The Bulldogs' 94-29 victory over Maryland Eastern Shore provided the largest margin of victory (65 points) in Stegeman Coliseum History. 

Within Georgia's lists for single-game efforts, the Bulldogs also recorded the following top-10 tallies: 
• No. 3 in points (123 vs. Tennessee Tech).
• No. 7 in points (120 vs. Morehead State).
• No. 5 in points in a half (64 in 1st half vs. Morehead State).
• No. 7 in points in a half (62 in 1st half vs. Tennessee Tech).
• No. 9 în field goals made (42 vs. Morehead State).
• No. 1 in 3-point FGs made (21 vs. Tennessee Tech).
• No. 4 in 3-point FGs made (17 vs. Morehead State).
• No. 4 in 3-point FGs made (17 vs. Morehead State).
• No. 7 in 3-point FGs made (15 vs. Ole Miss).
• No. 10 in 3-point FGs made (14 vs. Kentucky).
• No. 1 in 3-point FGs attempted (43 vs. Tennessee Tech).
• No. 3 in 3-point FGs attempted (40 vs. Maryland Eastern Shore).
• No. 4 in 3-point FGs attempted (38 vs. Ole Miss)
• No. 5 in 3-point FGs attempted (37 vs. Morehead State).
• No. 8 in FTs made (32 vs. Georgia Tech).
• No. 9 margin of victory overall (65 points vs. Maryland Eastern Shore).
• No. 1 margin of victory at Stegeman Coliseum (65 points vs. Maryland Eastern Shore).

An impressive list of additional accomplishments includes:
• Back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances for fourth time in program history.
• Back-to-back-to-back 20-win seasons for the third time in program history.
• Six straight weeks in the top-25 (longest since the 2002-03 season).
• 10-8 record in SEC play. First winning record in SEC since 2015-16.
• No. 7 seed for SEC Tournament. Highest seed since 2016.
• 6-4 road record. First winning record on the road since 2014-15.
• Second-best total attendance in UGA history (158,782). (164,071 in 2019-20 is record)
• Fifth-best average attendance in UGA history (8,821). (9,857 in 2002-03 is record).
• 12-game winning streak at home (sixth-longest in program history).
• 12-game winning streak at Stegeman Coliseum (fourth-longest in venue history).
