Season ticket packages to include two exhibitions in Athens

2026-27 TICKET INFORMATION
ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia Bulldogs will host two preseason games and play a third at Clemson in preparation for the 2026-27 season, head coach Mike White announced on Friday.

Georgia will take on Georgia State at Stegeman Coliseum on Wednesday, Oct. 7 and entertain Charlotte on Friday, Oct. 16 before traveling up I-85 to meet Clemson on Friday, Oct. 23.

The Bulldogs are taking advantage of updated NCAA regulations which expanded men's basketball teams' opportunities for preseason exhibitions to three games beginning with the upcoming campaign.

Following its trio of preseason contests, Georgia will open regular-season play by hosting N.C. Central on Monday, Nov. 2. That matchup will be part of a doubleheader also featuring Georgia's Lady Bulldogs against West Georgia. The Bulldogs' nine non-conference home games include a date against Boston College on Tuesday, Dec. 1 as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge. Georgia's SEC home opener will be on Jan. 5 or Jan. 6 against Texas, one of six SEC teams scheduled to visit Stegeman that were featured in the Aug. 18 version of Joe Lunardi's Bracketology for ESPN.com.

The Bulldogs will attempt to continue to consisten growth they have enjoyed during each season of head coach Mike White's tenure. White enters his fifth campaign in Athens looking to lead Georgia to a third-straight NCAA Tournament bid and a fourth-straight 20-win record. The 2026-27 roster features a mix of six returnees and nine newcomers. The returning letterwinners are headlined by starters Blue Cain, Kanon Catchings, Marcus "Smurf" Millender and Kareem Stagg. The ledger of first-year Bulldogs includes five transfers and four freshmen.

Tickets to both home preseason games will be included in season ticket packages along with the Bulldogs' 18 regular-season games at Stegeman. The season ticket renewal process is ongoing. New season ticket packages are still available here.
