Dobson Earns All-America Honors in 200 Freestyle at NCAAs

ATLANTA – Freshman Kennedi Dobson earned her third All-America citation of the week as the University of Georgia women's swimming and diving team continued competition at the 2026 NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships Thursday at the McAuley Aquatic Center.
 
Following two nights of competition, Georgia ranks 14th overall with 38 points.
 
Fast Facts
200y Freestyle – Dobson placed 13th in prelims with a time of 1:42.97, earning Second Team All-America honors and joining her previous citations in the 1,650y freestyle and 800y freestyle relay. Sophomore Marie Landreneau finished 21st with a time of 1:43.76.
200y Freestyle Relay – Sophomore Katie Belle Sikes, freshman Hayden Hollingsworth, Landreneau, and senior Emma Norton tied for 21st with a time of 1:28.94. Sikes led off with a collegiate personal best 50 free of 21.97, tying Gabi Fa'amausili for the 10th-fastest performer in program history. Norton closed out with a 22.25 anchor split.
400y Individual Medley – Senior Ieva Maluka finished 23rd with a time of 4:09.08.
100y Breaststroke – Freshman Elizabeth Nawrocki finished 45th with a time of 1:01.38.
 
Up Next
The NCAA Championships continue Friday with the 100y backstroke, 200y breaststroke, 500y freestyle, 50y freestyle, 3-meter diving, and 400y medley relay.
 
Dobson is seeded second in the 500y freestyle, joined by Landreneau (No. 24) and freshman Clarke Neace (No. 43), while Nawrocki is seeded 23rd in the 200y breaststroke.
 
Prelims and early heats of the relay finals will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the full finals session at 6 p.m. Live coverage of the NCAA Championships will stream live on ESPN+, with live results available here and on MeetMobile.
