ATHENS, Ga. --- The University of Georgia men's tennis team notched two wins on Sunday, with the first coming against Arkansas, 4-0, and then North Carolina A&T, 4-0.

vs. Arkansas

The Bulldogs clinched the doubles point by taking courts one and three. Arda Azkara and Santiago Giamichelle earned a 6-4 win over Eric Padgham and Ben Weintraub on court one, while Derrick Chen and Noah Johnston took a 6-4 win over Brendan Boland and Dmitry Kopilevich.
Georgia saw two tiebreakers during set one, on courts one and five. Both Derrick Chen, 7-6 (7-3), and Arda Azkara, 7-6 (7-1), used it to take the set point.
Will Jansen was the first to clinch his court in singles, defeating Lukas Palovic 6-1, 6-4.
Derrick Chen then put Georgia up 3-0 with a 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 win over Dmitry Kopilevich on court five.
And on court four, Noah Johnston sealed the win with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Gabriel Elicha Navas.

Vs. NC A&T

Georgia and NC A&T did not play doubles and went straight to singles matches.
All six Bulldogs won their first sets.
Freshman Salvador Price put the Bulldogs on the board with a 6-1, 6-2 win on court five.
Derrick Chen added a point for UGA on court four before Santiago Giamichelle made the score 3-0 with a win on court four.

Freshman Noah Johnston clinched the match on court three: 6-1, 6-3.

Every match in the SEC is difficult, so I am proud of the way we responded after a tough match on Friday with TCU. In singles, we carried that over and played really well. Derrick Chen, I thought was phenomenal all weekend long, going 4-0 and we had a number of other bright spots.
