OXFORD, Miss. ---- The No. 11 Georgia men's tennis team defeated No. 19 Ole Miss, 5-2 on Friday evening at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center.

FAST FACTS:

The Bulldogs won the doubles point after wins on courts three and two. Derrick Chen and Noah Johnston defeated M. Chambonniere and Benjamin Martin 6-2 before Will Jansen and Gabriele Vulpitta beat Stefano D'Agostino and Pietro Pampanin 6-4.
Gabriele Vulpitta was the first to win his singles match, defeating Benjamin Martin 6-2, 6-0 on court six.
Noah Johnston extended the Bulldogs' lead with a win on court four 6-0, 6-2.
Santiago Giamichelle clinched the match with a win on court three 6-1, 6-3.
After the Bulldogs won four straight points, Ole Miss got on the board with a win on court two and added a point on court five before Georgia closed out the match with a win on court one.
This marked the first home loss of the season for Ole Miss.
