- Georgia finished fourth in its opening College Swimming League match against Virginia, NC State, and Alabama. The Bulldogs earned one point in the overall CSL standings, with their second match coming at home on Oct. 23.
- Saturday's meet against Texas A&M marks the full debut for the 2026-27 Georgia swimming and diving teams. This is the Bulldogs' first trip to Bryan-College Station since the 2023 SEC Championships and first dual meet at A&M since January 2016.
- Georgia's diving team returns letterwinners Matthew Bray and Michelle Cummo, along with NCAA qualifier Renato Calderaro, who missed last season due to injury. Along with sophomore Leah McCarthy, who also missed last season, the Bulldogs welcome transfers Rin Drudge, Omar Elsayed, and Ruth Anne McCranie. Elsayed was last year's Big West Conference Diver of the Year at Grand Canyon, while Drudge (Alabama) and McCranie (Purdue) were NCAA Zone Championships qualifiers.
