Georgia Equestrian Begins Spring Season at UT Martin

ATHENS, Ga. – The second-ranked Georgia equestrian team will kick off their spring season when they travel to compete against UT Martin on Friday at 10:30 a.m. ET.
The Bulldogs completed the fall season with an overall record of 5-2, three of which coming against ranked opponents. Before the break, Georgia fell at current NCEA No. 1 Auburn, 14-6.
Senior Raegan Shepherd returns to action, after riding to an impressive 7-0 record in the fall, including one MOP nod. She was honored as the SEC Rider of the Month for Reining in the month of October.
Senior Maggie Bresch's score of 92.5 against No. 9 UC Davis topped the Flat leaderboard for the fall. The Barrington, Ill. native rode to a record of 4-1, including two MOP honors.
UT Martin holds a current record of 2-4 overall, picking up a pair of wins against Minnesota-Crookston and South Dakota State. The Skyhawks fell at Delaware State 12-6 to close out 2025.
Georgia last faced the Skyhawks in 2023, taking the win 14-5. The Bulldogs swept all four MOP honors.
