Post-Match Quotes
Georgia Head Coach Keidane McAlpine
On initial thoughts from the game…
"I thought Florida – I've got to give them credit, they gave energy, but I didn't think we played that well. I think we were fortunate on both goals, but we didn't bring the level of energy required to win the game, but I thought we did enough even with that to win the game. We should've taken any one of the two breakaways and put the game to bed. We left them in, and in this league, we can't do that."
On preparing for Tennessee next Thursday…
"A lot of it at this point in the season is recovery. Reset a little bit after this because it is disappointing and then get ourselves locked in for Tennessee, who is having a great season. We really have to focus on cleaning up some of the small things. Just energy, effort, winning the first and second ball, and doing the right things after. Tonight, we just didn't do them."
