Three Bulldogs Moving On in Qualifying at ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. – Two Bulldogs in singles and one Georgia pairing in doubles advanced in the second round of qualifying at the ITA All-American Championships on Monday.

Doubles – Qualifying 1^st Round
No. 84 Derrick Chen/Santi Giamichelle def. No. 65 Luis Llorens Saracho/Peter Nad, 6-4, 3-6, [10-3]

Singles - Qualifying 1^st Round
Santi Giamichelle def. No. 70 Aardash Tripathi (UCLA), 7-6(4), 5-3, ret.
No. 96 Dominique Rolland (UC-Santa Barbara) def. Gabriele Vulpitta, 6-3, 6-1
No. 104 Will Jansen def. Preston Stearns (Ohio State), 6-1, 6-4

UP NEXT
In the second round of qualifying, Santi Giamichelle will face No. 91 Kacper Szymkowiak (Wake Forest) at 10:00 a.m. ET, and Will Jansen will play No. 60 Connor Van Schalkwyk (Baylor) at 12:30 p.m. ET. In consolation, Gabriele Vulpitta is set for a test against Oklahoma's No. 107 Orel Kimhi. In the second round of qualifying doubles, No. 84 Chen/Giamichelle will take on Texas A&M's Togan Tokac/Tiago Pires at 3:30 p.m. ET.
