A NEW ERA
The Georgia Gymnastics team earned a national seed in the NCAA Gymnastics Tournament for the first time since 2019, ranked No. 10, with the help of first-year Co-Head Coaches Cécile Canqueteau-Landi and Ryan Roberts.

Under the duo's leadership, 2025 marked the first season since 2001 that the GymDogs earned six consecutive 197.000+ overall scores in the regular season.

So. Lily Smith was named to the All-SEC Team and WCGA All-American Second Team (bars, floor), and Fr. Nyla Aquino secured a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team under the leadership of Landi and Roberts.

REGULAR SEASON ROUND_UP
The GymDogs finished out the regular season with a bang, posting a season high 197.975 against Oklahoma, the sixth highest regular season meet score in program history and the highest score of its kind since 2009.

The team earned season highs on bars (49.575), floor (49.675) and vault (49.350). Notably, So. Lily Smith and Fr. Nyla Aquino both secured a season high 9.975 at the meet, Smith on bars and Aquino on floor, to win their respective events. Fr. Aquino also captured a career high 9.950 to win the vault rotation.

The Bulldogs competed a season-high 197.975 against Oklahoma, their sixth straight week to pass the 197.000 benchmark, making it the first time to happen for the GymDogs in the regular season since 2001.

THE RACE TO A PERFECT 10
Going into the NCAA Washington Regional, no GymDog has captured the elusive perfect 10 in 2025. So. Anya Turner, So. Lily Smith and Fr. Nyla Aquino have all neared, securing a 9.975 on beam, bars and floor, respectively.

DEFENDING THE STEG

So. Lily Smith clinched the win for the Bulldogs, anchoring on floor to a 9.925 and matching the team's then season high of 49.450 in the event. Smith also met her career and season highs on beam with a 9.950 against the Wildcats, capturing first place on the apparatus.

SUCCESS ON THE FOUR INCH STAGE
The Bulldogs' seventh meet brought immense accomplishment on the beam rotation, leading the team to capture a new season high of 49.550 in the event. This score ties for the fifth highest single meet beam score in Georgia Gymnastics history, making it the highest team score in the event since the 2019 season.

This success was championed by So. Anya Turner who secured a 9.975, earning the honor of SEC Specialist of the Week for her career-high routine.

SCOTT CONTINUES THE MOONWALK
