TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The No. 1 Georgia women's tennis team (17-1, 10-0 SEC) earned its 10th sweep of the season after cruising past No. 32 Alabama (9-9, 3-7 SEC), 4-0, at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility on Friday.

Georgia opened the afternoon with a win in doubles. #74 Guillermina Grant and Anastasiia Lopata struck first with a 6-1 win over Klara Milicevic and Sara Nayar on court two followed by Aysegul Mert and Hayden Mulberry clinching doubles point with a 6-0 victory over Margaux Maquet and Maria Andrienko on court three.
In singles, #55 Lopata was the first on the board for the Bulldogs as she knocked off Milicevic, 6-3, 6-2, on court two to double Georgia's lead to 2-0.
#1 Dasha Vidmnova followed up soon after to put Georgia one point from victory after defeating #75 Petra Sedlackova, 6-1, 6-4, on court one.
Sofia Rojas sealed the deal for Georgia as she defeated Maquet, 6-4, 6-2, on court six to clinch the match for the Bulldogs.
