STARKVILLE, Miss. — The No. 1 Georgia women's tennis team (18-1, 11-0 SEC) was dominant from start to finish as it swept No. 66 Mississippi State (10-11, 0-11 SEC), 4-0, at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre on Sunday.

Georgia opened the afternoon with a win in doubles. #10 Dasha Vidmanova and Mell Reasco struck first with a 6-0 bagel over #72 Gianna Oboniye and Athina Pitta on court one followed by Aysegul Mert and Hayden Mulberry clinching doubles point with a 6-3 victory over Jayna Clemens and Chiara Di Genova on court three.
In singles, #1 Vidmanova was the first on the board for the Bulldogs as she knocked off Carolina Troiano, 6-0, 6-3, on court one to double Georgia's lead to 2-0.
#55 Anastasiia Lopata followed up soon after to put Georgia one point from victory after defeating Alessia Tagliente, 6-1, 6-0, on court two.
#52 Mert secured the sweep for Georgia as she defeated Pitta, 6-1, 6-2, on court four to clinch the match for the Bulldogs.
