No. 10 Bulldogs Headed to Seattle NCAA Regional

ATHENS, Ga. – The 10th-seeded University of Georgia gymnastics team earned a berth into the NCAA postseason and will compete at the NCAA Seattle Regional held April 3-6 at Alaska Airlines Arena, the NCAA announced Monday.
The Seattle Regional will begin on Thursday, April 3, with the first round featuring Illinois and UC Davis at 5 p.m. ET. The winner will advance to the second round on Friday, April 4.
Round two will be split into two sessions. Session I will include No. 7 seed Missouri, No. 10 seed Georgia, Arizona, and Arizona State at 4 p.m. ET.  Session II will feature No. 2 seed Oklahoma, No. 15 seed Auburn, and Nebraska, as well as the first-round winner at 10 p.m. ET.
The top two teams from each second-round session will advance to the Regional Final at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 6. Â

The top two teams from the Regional Final will advance to NCAA Championships April 17 and 19 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. Â
In 40 all-time regional appearances, Georgia has won 24 regional championships and finished second 12 times. Georgia last advanced to the NCAA Championship in 2019 through the Athens Regional with a score of 198.050. Â
