ATHENS, Ga. — The No. 1 Georgia women's tennis team (15-1, 8-0 SEC) earned its 12th-consecutive victory after knocking off Arkansas (4-11, 1-7 SEC), 5-2, at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex on Friday.

The Bulldogs now lead the all-time series 36-3 against the Razorbacks, winning each of the last 17 meetings.
Georgia also improved its SEC regular season winning streak to 23 matches dating back to the 2021-22 season.
The Bulldogs have now outscored opponents 68-14 through 16 matches in the spring.
Georgia opened the afternoon with a win in doubles. #10 Dasha Vidmanova and Mell Reasco struck first as they blanked Olga Bienzobas and Carolina Gomez Alonso, 6-0, on court one followed by #75 Guillermina Grant and Anastasiia Lopata taking down Anet Koskel and Grace O'Donnell, 6-2, on court two.
In singles, #100 Grant was the first on the board for the Bulldogs as she knocked off Koskel, 6-2, 6-3, on court four to double Georgia's lead to 2-0.
#1 Vidmanova followed up soon after to put Georgia one point from victory after defeating #74 Carolina Gomez Alonso, 6-3, 6-0, on court one.
#52 Aysegul Mert sealed the deal for Georgia as she cruised past Katarina Pavlechova, 6-4, 6-1, on court three to clinch the match for the Bulldogs.
With both sides deciding to play out the match, Georgia added one more point to the board as #55 Lopata defeated Bienzobas, 6-4, 6-1, on court two.
Mai Nirundorn made her spring debut for the Bulldogs, coming in at singles court six.
