Georgia Stuns No. 11 Tennessee in Knoxville, 72-69

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Georgia women's basketball team built an early 33-10 lead and held off a furious Tennessee comeback to knock off the No. 11-ranked Lady Vols, 72-69, Sunday afternoon inside Thompson-Boling Arena.

• Five Georgia players scored in double figures, led by a carer-high 20 points from freshman Mia Woolfolk and 18 points from senior De'Mauri Flournoy off 6-of-10 shooting from the floor. Freshman guard Trinity Turner scored 11 points in the win.
• Georgia led 33-10 in the second quarter and built a 39-26 halftime lead.
• After Tennessee erased a 23-point lead, Georgia hit six of its final eight shots to end the game. Woolfolk knocked in a pair of free throws to seal the game.
• The Lady Bulldogs led the Lady Vols for 30 minutes, compared to just two minutes in the lead for Tennessee.
• Sunday's win marks only Georgia's sixth win all time in Knoxville and just the third victory on Rocky Top since 1996.
