GREENVILLE, S.C. — Four players scored in double figures — led by 19 points from senior guard Asia Avinger — as the Georgia women's basketball team defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks, 79-74, in the first round of the SEC tournament at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena.

• Joining Avinger in double figures was De'Mauri Flournoy with 15, Trinity Turner with 11 and Mia Woolfolk with 10.
• The Lady Bulldogs trailed by as much as 11 points at the four-minute mark of the third quarter. Georgia outscored the Razorbacks 25-14 in the fourth period.
• Arkansas guard Izzy Higginbottom scored 38 points off an impressive 15-of-24 shooting performance. She also threw in eight rebounds, three assists and went a perfect 7-for-7 at the free-throw line.
