KEY QUOTE: "We got off to a great start in doubles," said head coach Jamie Hunt. "We went up a break on all three courts, playing really well, playing with great energy. We just weren't able to hold serve there. We have to find a way, when we go up breaks, to consolidate those breaks and serve it out. Miguel [Perez Peña] and Gabry [Vulpitta] did a great job again of playing really good doubles and closing their guys out. At one and two, when we go up a break, we have to close it out. In singles, credit to Thomas Paulsell for coming out and playing one of his best matches of the spring. He's doing a great job every day in practice, and I think it's just a matter of time before his play really rises because he's doing all the right things. I thought we fought incredibly hard on all the other courts, and we put ourselves in a position to win a lot of matches, a lot of sets. We've got to play with more poise and opportunities when we get those opportunities. We have to fix those issues."
UP NEXT: Georgia returns home to face No. 28 Kentucky on Friday, Mar. 7 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex with doubles set to begin at 2:00 p.m. E.T.
