BATON ROUGE, La. — The No. 1 Georgia women's tennis team (13-1, 6-0 SEC) earned its sixth top 10 ranked victory of the season after knocking off No. 9 LSU (14-2, 5-1 SEC), 4-2, at the LSU Tennis Complex on Friday.

The Bulldogs now lead the all-time series 52-4 against the Tigers, winning each of the last 46 meetings.
Georgia also improved its SEC regular season winning streak to 21 matches dating back to the 2021-22 season.
The Bulldogs are off to a 13-1 start in the spring for the first time since the 2020-21 season.
After dropping the doubles point to trail 1-0, #1 Dasha Vidmanova quickly leveled the match in singles play as she dominated #54 Cadence Brace, 6-0, 6-1, on court one.
#41 Aysegul Mert earned Georgia's first lead of the night as she took a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Kinaa Graham on court four.
Sofia Rojas quietly propelled the Bulldogs to their third point of the match on court six, battling her way to a 6-3, 7-6(4) straight-set win over Kenna Erickson.
Following an LSU singles win on court five, Mell Reasco sealed the deal for Georgia as she came back from a set down to defeat #65 Tilwith Di Girolami, 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, on court three and secure the clinch for the Bulldogs.
