FAST FACTS:
KEY QUOTES: "Credit to Virginia," said head coach Jamie Hunt. "They came in here and played a good match. I thought they served and returned well in doubles. Got off to a good start at one and two, and we kind of made our push there and got back into it and just came up a little short. In singles, really proud of Niels and Miguel. I thought they played tremendous and gave us the opportunity to be in the match. We almost turned it around. Fought incredibly well down here at five which ultimately went to a 10-point breaker. Ryan pushing that second set to a tie breaker gave us an opportunity to really be in the second sets and flip some of those. And unfortunately, we just came up a little bit short. But, really proud of the fight we showed."
