KEY QUOTE: "Proud of our fight," said head coach Jamie Hunt. "We battled until the end. I'm proud of our togetherness. We supported each other in a tremendous way. We put ourselves in a position to win. Two points away, and you've got to give credit to Alabama. I thought they hung around and kind of stole it at the end, but I'm really proud of Ryan [Colby] for playing a tremendous singles match, Oscar [Pinto Sansano], for fighting. Everybody fought, but we just have to clean some things up. There were situations where we just had self-inflicted wounds and beat ourselves. That can't happen, so we have to clean that up, move on, and be better for Sunday."

UP NEXT: The Bulldogs remain on the road in SEC action taking on No. 45 Auburn on Sunday, Mar. 2 at the Yarbrough Tennis Center with doubles set to begin at 2:00 p.m. E.T.
