The seventh-ranked Georgia softball is back on the road for a series at Kentucky this weekend. The series kicks of Friday in Lexington at 6:30 p.m.
 
Saturday's game will begin at 2 p.m. with Sunday's finale set for 2:20 p.m. airing live on ESPN2.

Recapping Action
Georgia shut out the Georgia State Panthers on Wednesday, 5-0. Riley Orcutt pitched one scoreless inning in her start with a strikeout. Rachel Gibson worked one scoreless frame out of the pen with a pair of K's. Lilli Backes picked up two scoreless, hitless innings of work with a strikeout. Madison Kerpics (10-1) was awarded the win, pitching the final three innings, allowing one hit and striking out three. The staff combined for its seventh shutout of the season. Wednesday's game was also the third time Georgia pitchers did not allow a walk in a game this season. The offense scattered seven total hits, led by two hits from Jaiden Fields and two RBI from Ellie Armistead in the contest.
 
A Look at What's Ahead
Georgia returns to Athens and will open a seven-game homestand beginning Wednesday, April 17 against USC-Upstate. The matchup against the Spartans will be Georgia's final midweek game of the season. The Missouri Tigers come to the Classic City for a three-game series beginning Friday, April 19.
 
Sara Mosley: The RBI Machine
Sara Mosley currently ranks third in the SEC with 49 total RBI this season, which ranks eighth in the country. Her 1.26 RBI per game is third in the conference and 14th in the country. She has recorded 10 multi-RBI games this season, four of which she drove in five or more runs. Her 212 career RBI rank sixth all-time at Georgia, and she is currently sixth among active Division I players.
 
Walk This Way
After drawing 23 walks in the Ole Miss series, Georgia rose to 12th in the country in total walks and fourth in the SEC. Georgia has drawn 158 walks this season, led by Lyndi Rae Davis' 32 free bases.
