NEW ORLEANS ---Â Following a day of podium training, the University of Georgia GymDogs are set to compete at the 2024 Southeastern Conference Gymnastics Championship on Saturday, March 23 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
Georgia will compete in the first session against Auburn, Missouri, and Arkansas, beginning at 2:30 p.m. CT. The evening session will include Florida, LSU, Alabama, and Kentucky. Both sessions will broadcast live on the SEC Network.Â
The GymDogs finished the regular-season ranked 18th with a 197.030 National Qualifying Score (NQS) and will open competition on floor for the first rotation, then move to vault, bars, and beam, respectively.Â
All-time, Georgia leads the SEC with 16 team titles and 101 event championships. The GymDogs last won the conference championship in 2008 before going on to win their fourth-consecutive NCAA title.
