
Alexis Czarrunchick Set to Join GymDogs for 2025 Season

ATHENS, Ga. --- The University of Georgia gymnastics team has added Alexis Czarrunchick of Howell, New Jersey to the roster for the 2025 season, head coach Courtney Kupets Carter announced. Â

Czarrunchick joins Nyla Aquino of Boston, Massachusetts, Brooke Gleichowski of Gainesville, Florida, Harley Tomlin of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Emma Mason of Scott Depot, West Virginia, and Aberdeen O'Driscoll of Léglise, Belgium, as freshmen during the 2025 season. Â

"We are excited to see Alexis in Stegeman Coliseum next season," Kupets Carter said. "We look forward to seeing her skills shine in front of the best fans in college gymnastics."

Czarrunchick will join the GymDogs after training at MG Elite. She was the New Jersey state vault and all-around champion as well as regional bar champion in 2019. In 2022, Czarrunchick was the Shore Conference vault and all-around high school champion, and third in the state all-around champion. Most recently in 2023 she was the sectional all-around high school champion and second in the state all-around high school champion. Â

"After visiting UGA I knew it was my new home," Czarrunchick said. "The incredible coaching staff and welcoming team environment drew me in. I knew nowhere else could compare, and help me grow athletically and academically."
