Muoneke, Gooch Named to CSC Academic All-District® Volleyball Team

ATHENS, Ga. – University of Georgia volleyball student-athletes Bianna Muoneke and Ceci Gooch have been named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Volleyball team, selected by College Sports Communicators.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Volleyball teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Muoneke, a rising junior from Cypress, Texas, is a Sociology major at UGA. In her first season in the Red & Black, Muoneke recorded 294 kills in 100 sets with a .217 hitting clip on the outside. She finished third on the team in kills (2.94 kills/set) and in digs (2.02 digs/set). At the service line, she served up 28 aces on the season.
Gooch, also a rising junior from Dallas, Texas, is a marketing major at Georgia. Gooch played 106 matches this season and recorded 130 kills with a .240 hitting percentage in the middle. She put up 84 total blocks for a 0.79 blocker per set clip.
