Bulldogs Announce 2026 Volleyball Schedule

ATHENS, Ga. – University of Georgia head volleyball coach Tom Black has announced the complete 2026 Georgia Volleyball schedule.
The 2026 season will be the 10th under the direction of Tom Black and the 48th season of volleyball in Athens. The schedule features 25 matches, including 13 hosted in Athens.
Georgia will host a team scrimmage on Aug. 8 and a pair of exhibitions against Wake Forest (Aug. 15) and Mercer (Aug. 22) as a preview to the season.
The season officially kicks off in Athens the weekend of Aug. 28, when Georgia hosts the Classic City Clash at Stegeman Coliseum. Georgia will host North Florida, George Washington, and Furman in the six-match, round robin tournament Friday and Saturday.
Georgia's first road test will come Sept. 1 and 2 in West Lafayette, Indiana, when the Bulldogs take on Indiana and Purdue in the inaugural Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish come to Athens on Tuesday, Sept. 8, for the Showdown at the Net. The 2026 edition of the Showdown at the Net will feature all 16 teams from the SEC and the ACC.
The Bulldogs are back on the road to Mobile, Alabama, Sept. 11-13 at a tournament hosted by South Alabama. Georgia will face off against Tulane (Sept. 11), host South Alabama (Sept. 12), and Kennesaw State (Sept. 13).
Non-conference action wraps up on Saturday, Sept. 19, when Georgia hosts Georgia Tech at Stegeman Coliseum.
Southeastern Conference play begins Sept. 23 when Georgia hosts South Carolina. The Bulldogs' other SEC home matches include Arkansas (Oct. 2), Oklahoma (Oct. 4), Texas A&M (Oct. 23), Missouri (Oct. 25), Vanderbilt (Nov. 1), Tennessee (Nov. 13), and Kentucky (Nov. 15).
Georgia will be on the road for conference matches at Mississippi State (Oct. 9), Alabama (Oct. 11), Ole Miss (Oct. 16), LSU (Oct. 18), Texas (Oct. 28), Auburn (Nov. 6), and Florida (Nov. 8).
The 2026 Allstate SEC Volleyball Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 20-24 at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia.
The Bulldogs finished the 2025 season 16-10 overall and 8-7 in SEC play. Georgia returns 11 student-athletes from last season's roster, including AVCA All-America Honorable Mention Bianna Muoneke.
