» This marks the 14th-straight year that Georgia and Furman have met during the regular season. The Lady Bulldogs own a 20-0 advantage in the all-time series, including a 16-0 record in Athens.
» Georgia and Furman enter Sunday's matchup with identical 2-0 records. The Lady Bulldogs downed North Carolina Central and the Big-12's Houston Cougars. Furman has wins against South Carolina State and Erksine.

» Georgia has hit 41 percent from 3-point range and 79.5 percent from the free-throw line through two games. The Lady Bulldogs' 50 percent effort from 3 (7-of-14) against Houston was the best mark for the team in two seasons (vs. Seton Hall in 2022).
» The 96 points scored by Georgia against NC Central were the most for the team in a game in four seasons. The Lady Bulldogs tallied 97 points against Gardner-Webb to open the 2021-22 campaign.
