ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia Lady Bulldogs defeated Houston, 61-47, on Friday evening behind a dominant performance by the starting five.

  • Junior Amiya Evans notched her second-straight double-double (14 pts, 10 reb).
  • Friday's game marked the fifth overall meeting between the Lady Dogs and the Cougars. The last time the two teams met was Dec. 3, 2003, when Georgia defeated Houston 65-52.
