Bulldogs Fall in Four Sets on the Road at Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Georgia volleyball team dropped a four-set match at Missouri on Wednesday night at Hearnes Center (18-25, 12-25, 28-26, 17-25).

Erykah Lovett led the Georgia attack with 17 kills and four aces. She recorded six kills in each the first and fourth sets.
Sophie Fischer (9) and Bianna Muoneke (8) followed Lovett in the kills category. Both were excellent on defense as well as Muoneke put up 10 digs and Fischer had six blocks.
As a team, Georgia totaled eight service aces and put up eight blocks.
Georgia had to battle it out in the third set to stay alive in the match, fighting through 21 ties and nine lead changes to win the set 28-26.
