Opening Tip

» Georgia welcomes Hampton in the second matchup of a four-game home stand. The Lady Bulldogs and Pirates tip off at 2 p.m. ET.

» Georgia is hosting a Season of Giving Drive. Fans are encouraged to bring wellness items -- including warm clothing, hygiene kits and non-perishable pantry items -- to the donation center at Gate A.

» Sunday's contest marks just the second all-time meeting between the two programs. Georgia defeated Hampton, 107-46, in Athens back in 1999.

» Hampton comes in with a 1-4 record. The Pirates' lone win came against Bowie State on Nov. 4.

» Lady Bulldog sophomore Fatima Diakhate is coming off a career-high 15-point effort against Prairie View A&M. Diakhate hit an efficient 58 percent (7 of 12) from the field and hauled in six boards.

» Georgia's five freshmen combine to make up 40 percent of the Lady Bulldogs' scoring this season. That number includes Mia Woolfolk, who has been out with an injury following the first game of the season.

» Freshman Trinity Turner has reached double figures in scoring six of eight games. She scored in double figures in each of her first three contests, the first Lady Bulldog freshman to do so since National Freshman of the Year Tasha Humphrey in 2004. She then led all scorers with 28 points at Georgia Tech, the most points in a game for a Georgia freshman since Gabby Connally in 2018 (37 at Texas A&M).

» Freshman Mia Woolfolk led all Georgia rookies with 18 points and 13 rebounds in her debut against NC Central. It is just the third time in program history a freshman has recorded a double-double in her debut. Janet Harris in 1981 and Christi Thomas in 2000 are the only other two to accomplish that feat.

» It was recently announced that Georgia inked the No.18-ranked recruiting class in 2025, marking the second-straight year the team has signed a top-20 class. Georgia was the only SEC team to sign four ESPN top-100 prospects in 2024 -- a class that ranked No. 16 nationally.
